Advertising Policy

The two kinds of paid promotion on DailyJob.pk, third-party ads and featured listings, how each is labelled, and the advertisers we refuse.

Last updated 18 Sep 2026 Applies to DailyJob.pk

DailyJob.pk is free for candidates, and part of what keeps it free is advertising. This policy explains the two kinds of promotion you will see, how we label them so you always know what is paid, and what we refuse to run. It is issued by DailyJob.pk and applies from September 18, 2026.

Two kinds of promotion

Third-party advertisements

Display ads from advertising networks may appear in marked spaces around the Career Feed, on Career Journal articles and on some role pages. They are served by the network rather than chosen individually by us, and they never appear inside the text of a vacancy or an article. They are always separated from platform content and marked "Advertisement" or "Sponsored".

Featured listings

Workplaces on certain Hiring Desk plans can feature a vacancy so that it appears higher in the Career Feed, in Smart Picks highlights or on the home page. A featured role is a genuine vacancy that has passed the same verification and content review as every other role; the workplace has simply paid for visibility. Featured roles carry a visible "Featured" label wherever they appear, and featuring never changes the facts shown in the listing.

What paid visibility does not buy

  • It does not exempt a workplace from verification, the Content Policy or the Employer Terms.
  • It does not influence Career Journal editorial coverage; articles are not for sale.
  • It does not give the advertiser access to your profile, resume or contact details.

What we will not run

We decline advertisements, whether from networks or direct, for: work-from-home schemes that require an upfront payment; multi-level or pyramid marketing; unlicensed visa, immigration or overseas-employment agents; gambling, adult content or intoxicants; loans with hidden terms aimed at job seekers; fake diplomas or certificates; and anything unlawful in Pakistan or misleading by design. We block ads that imitate the look of a vacancy or a platform notification. If a network serves something on this list, we remove it as soon as we see it or hear about it.

Ads and your data

Advertising networks may set cookies to cap frequency and measure views, as described in our Cookie Policy. We do not send your name, resume, applications or contact details to any advertiser, and we do not run ads on the app screens where you manage applications or edit a resume.

Tell us about a bad ad

If an ad looks like a scam, is offensive or seems to breach this policy, use the Report Abuse page or email support@dailyjob.pk with a screenshot and the page where you saw it. Reports about ads are reviewed within two working days.
