What a vacancy on DailyJob.pk must contain, what workplaces may and may never publish, and why every AI-generated draft needs a human read before it goes live.

Last updated 18 Sep 2026 Applies to DailyJob.pk

Every listing in the Career Feed is read by someone deciding where to spend the next years of their life. This Content Policy sets out what a workplace may publish on DailyJob.pk, what it may never publish, and how we treat text drafted with AI tools. It is issued by DailyJob.pk, applies from September 18, 2026 and forms part of the Employer Terms.

What a vacancy must contain

  • A clear, specific title that names the role, not a slogan ("Accounts Officer", not "Rockstar Wanted").
  • The workplace name as registered, and the city or "Remote".
  • Employment type, work mode and shift.
  • Honest responsibilities and requirements, written for the role actually being filled.
  • A salary range, or a clear statement that salary is disclosed at interview. Where a range is shown, it must be in PKR per month and be one the workplace intends to honour.
  • A closing date, or an indication that applications are reviewed as they arrive.

What workplaces may post

Full-time, part-time, contract, internship, temporary and freelance roles at the posting workplace or, for declared recruitment agencies, at a named client. Paid internships and stipend-based trainee programmes are welcome and must state the stipend. Unpaid internships may be posted only where the workplace is an educational or non-profit body and the listing says plainly that the role is unpaid. Government and public-sector vacancies may be posted by the department itself or by a verified agency reproducing an official advertisement, with the official reference included.

What is never allowed

  • Anything that charges the candidate: registration, training, uniform, equipment, visa-processing, "security" or document fees, or roles that require buying stock or a starter kit.
  • Multi-level marketing, network marketing, referral-chain or pyramid schemes, however they are described.
  • Adult or escort work, modelling requests that ask for private photographs, or roles described mainly by the appearance of the candidate.
  • Illegal activity, including unlicensed money exchange, betting, unlicensed overseas recruitment, or anything that breaches Pakistani law.
  • Vague "work from home, earn daily" posts with no employer, no duties and no verifiable contact.
  • Discriminatory requirements not justified by a genuine occupational need.
  • Personal data harvesting: listings whose real purpose is to collect CNIC copies, bank details or phone numbers.
  • Misleading employer identity: using a well-known brand's name or logo you are not authorised to use.
  • Duplicate or near-duplicate listings, keyword stuffing, or listings written only to attract search traffic.

AI drafts must be reviewed

The Hiring Desk can generate a draft vacancy from a few prompts, and Resume Lab can draft a profile summary. These drafts are convenient, and they are also occasionally wrong: they can invent benefits, exaggerate responsibilities or describe a different job entirely. Before publishing, a person at the workplace must read the whole draft, correct anything inaccurate and confirm that the text reflects the real role. By publishing you confirm that this review has taken place. We may decline listings that show clear signs of unreviewed generation, such as contradictory requirements or unfinished sentences.

Career Journal and other content

Articles in the Career Journal are written or commissioned by our editorial team and are not vacancies or advertisements. Workplace profiles, logos and descriptions must be accurate and owned or licensed by the workplace. Reader comments follow the Community Guidelines.

Review and takedown

Listings are checked automatically and by our team before and after publication. We may edit for category, formatting and clarity, ask for changes, or decline a listing with a reason. Candidates can flag any listing from the role page; flagged listings are reviewed within one working day. Persistent breaches lead to removal of the workplace under the Employer Terms. Questions about whether a role qualifies can be sent to support@dailyjob.pk before you publish.
