Copyright & DMCA
Who owns what on DailyJob.pk, how to send a copyright or trademark notice, how counter-notices work and what happens to repeat infringers.
DailyJob.pk hosts a great deal of content that other people created: resumes, workplace logos, vacancy text, Career Journal articles and reader comments. We respect the intellectual property behind all of it and expect our users to do the same. This page explains what to do if your work appears here without permission. It is maintained by DailyJob.pk and applies from September 18, 2026.
Whose work is it?
Candidates own their resumes and profiles. Workplaces own their vacancy text, logos and descriptions, or hold a licence to use them. DailyJob.pk owns the design, code, name and editorial content of DailyJob.pk, including Career Journal articles and Resume Lab templates. Copyright in Pakistan is protected under the Copyright Ordinance 1962; we also accept takedown notices in the form used internationally so that overseas rights-holders can reach us easily.
If your work appears here without permission
Send a notice to support@dailyjob.pk with the subject "Copyright notice". To act quickly, we need:
- Your full name, organisation (if any), postal address, email and phone number.
- A description of the copyrighted work, with a link to or copy of the original.
- The exact URL on https://www.dailyjob.pk where the infringing material appears, or enough detail for us to find it.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, an agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices slow things down, so please include everything.
What happens next
We acknowledge complete notices within two working days. If the notice is valid on its face we remove or disable access to the material, usually within five working days, and tell the person who posted it, sharing your notice with them so they understand what was claimed. For trademark complaints, such as a logo used by an unauthorised workplace, the same process applies.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, or that you have the right to use the material, send a counter-notice to the same address with: your contact details, the URL of the removed material, a statement that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts at the registered office of DailyJob.pk. We forward counter-notices to the complainant. Unless they tell us within ten working days that they have started legal proceedings, we may restore the material.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that receive repeated valid notices are closed. Deliberate misuse of the notice process, for instance to remove a competitor's genuine listing, is also grounds for removal.
Using DailyJob.pk content
You may share links to roles and articles freely and quote short extracts with attribution. Copying the Career Feed, republishing articles in full, or scraping listings for another website requires written permission; ask at support@dailyjob.pk. Workplaces may reproduce their own vacancy text elsewhere without restriction.
